home sweet homeless

i'm home, but without home.
back living in the van, but in dire need of a stable house in victoria, as i have weeks to complete this big ol' paper that's looming and dive into 24-7 on-call midwifery.
no time for culture shock...
but i took a few minutes to throw some photos together for sharing.
they are in no order, because my life is in no order.
enjoy... it's a pleasure to share!

these are the boys i worked with, out on a village farm

the bidon-ville, tin can slum near where i lived in kampala

the table for babies that we lost

the seamstress who lead the mattress project, sewing vinyl covers for the mattresses we donated

mulago hospital in kampala, recognizable to some from the king of scotland film

a 97-year-old traditional birth attendant and her grandchildren
